UNITED FOR AFRICA and PUMA
At the same time as the Football World Cup 2006 is underway, UNITED FOR AFRICA and PUMA are planning several events and campaigns. In these joint undertakings, UNITED FOR AFRICA and PUMA want to combine humanitarian committment with life-style themes in order to attract as many interested and committed people as possible. Hence, both co-operation partners are inviting to cultural and sporting events as well as to life-style and party events. The revenue therefrom will in part go to the aid organisations of UNITED FOR AFRICA.
UNITED-FOR-AFRICA-Tram
Take a tram-ride, shop and do something good at the same time! As part of the cooperation between UNITED FOR AFRICA and PUMA the UNITED- FOR-AFRICA-Tram will start in Berlin on 29th May 2006.
This tram not only distinguishes itself from other trams with its looks. It also attracts with its unique interior. While a DJ takes care of club-vibes, passengers have the opportunity to have a drink at the bar, inform themselves at one of the interactive kiosks about UNITED FOR AFRICA's aid projects and shop in the onboard store. Profits from the sale of the UNITED FOR AFRICA Charity Collection, the PUMA Charity Collection and the tram-tickets will be to UNITED FOR AFRICA's benefit. The tram sets-off at "Am Kupfergraben" in Berlin-Mitte and the end of the line is S+U-Bahn station Warschauer Straße. En route passengers can get on and off at several stops.
Café Moskau
During the FIFA World Cup 2006 the Café Moskau in Berlin-Mitte will function as PUMA Headquarters. In addition to the press-centre and PUMA shop, several events will take place here (which will be explained in detail on these pages). Furthermore visitors can inform themselves about the aid work of UNITED FOR AFRICA and the African continent in the UNITED-FOR-AFRICA-Exhibition.
In the evening Café Moskau will lure people in with great partys and special guests. Part of the profits from this will go directly to the aid-projects of UNITED FOR AFRICA.
